11:00 AM Designing with Play in Mind for More Meaningful Learning

You already know games are a learning tool. But have you, like many other designers, had the sneaking suspicion that something was missing? That maybe there was more to it than colourful quiz-games and rethemed classics?

This session will question what the spectrum of gamification is and is not, examine why game-based learning increases engagement, and practice how you can design to those principles. By the end, you will have a tool to analyse and apply elements of games to learning designs to create more meaningful experiences.

Check out the incredible speaker line-up to see who will be joining Richard.
