Effectively Deploying Virtual Reality to Create Interactive and Engaging E-Learning Experiences
VR applications, in particular, are expected to grow quickly in higher education. By 2021, 60 per cent
of higher education institutions will be using the technology to gain a competitive advantage by differentiating their learning
environments, making them more immersive, and increasing student learning and
are already embracing these transformative tools. For
TAFE NSW for example VR is proving to be an important tool in creating
innovative and engaging learning experiences for all students, regardless of
how and when they choose to study. Ahead
of the Online & E-Learning summit 2019 we chat to Joe Millward, Innovation
Manager at the TAFE NSW Digital Lab, who explores how VR is creating
interactive and consistent experiences for all students.
